Beth Wenstrup
Beth’s formal training began with her studies at the University of Cincinnati in the Design, Art, Architecture &Planning, where she studied fashion design for several years, followed by 2 years at the Central Academy of Commercial Art. This led to a career working at various advertising agencies in Cincinnati, then later as a freelancer while she raised three children.
A present from her husband, Beth started studying pastel in 2014. It turned out to be the gift that keeps on giving, as she got hooked! She is currently an Associate Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA), and a Signature Member of the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati. Her art has been in many competitions including Viewpoint 55 and 57, a national juried art competition. She has been selling her artwork at MacBeth & Company since 2019 and has numerous commissions each year.
Beth is inspired by those special moments when water, land, and sky come together to create a single beautiful landscape. For Beth, the ultimate success is a painting that brings joy to others as they return to a special place or a cherished moment.
